We had an amazing stay at a lovely ryokan in the mountains. The owner looked after us well, making sure we had a peaceful and relaxing experience. The hot spring onsen was wonderfully relaxing, and we even had the option to book a private hour-long session. The kaiseki dinner was out of this world, with fresh and delicious dishes that left us feeling like royalty. The tatami mat futons provided a peaceful night's sleep. we highly recommend this traditional ryokan experience.

The hotel is conveniently located next to a cable car, making it easy to access Hakone's sights. the rooms are comfortable, warm, and spacious, and the food is delicious. the private onsen reservation system is efficient and highly enjoyable.
The ambiance during meal times may feel unappealing to some guests who are looking for a more romantic or intimate setting.

Lovely Rustic Experience with Great Food Enjoyed a quiet retreat in the mountains with lovely rustic decor that made for a romantic escape. the Spring bath was a relaxing retreat from city living. the food was delicious and memorable, particularly the Japanese degustation dinner.
Hard to Get to & Limited Dining Options Getting to the hotel was quite a journey, involving multiple trains and cable cars that were inconvenient and time-consuming, especially with heavy luggage. There were limited dining options around, so guests have to rely on the hotel's meals, which can be quite an expensive addition to the overall cost of the stay.

We loved this hotel's convenient location right next to the cable car which takes you down to Gora or up-and-over the mountain to the main Hakone sightseeing spots. The breakfast was amazing, and the staff was incredibly helpful.
Can't fault anything about it.

I had such a wonderful stay at this luxurious hotel! The location in a peaceful residential area was perfect for a relaxing getaway. The service provided by the staff was exceptional - they were always attentive but never intrusive. The room amenities were top-notch, including ironing facilities, air conditioning, and a dining table. I also appreciated the free Wi-Fi in rooms, as well as the complimentary toiletries. The hotel had everything I needed for a comfortable and convenient stay, from the well-equipped kitchenette with cookware and an electric kettle, to the flat-screen TV for entertainment.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay.

The hotel was located in a peaceful area surrounded by nature, which made for a relaxing vacation. We enjoyed the private bath in the hot springs, which was a perfect way to end the day. The room was spacious and comfortable, and the traditional Japanese clothing provided a unique experience. the staff was very accommodating and helpful with any requests.
Getting to the hotel was a bit of a challenge as it required taking multiple forms of transportation and navigating some steep steps. there were limited options for food nearby, which made it difficult to find lunch.
